About Tara

Since graduating with a BA in Fine Art from Winchester School of Art, Tara has become one of the leading contemporary food photographers. Her work has taken her across the world and whether it is shooting on location or in her London studio, she brings a keen eye for composition, a sense of beauty and a human engagement to food.

With fourteen year’s commercial experience, Tara possess an in-depth understanding of ideas relating to food, current trends and has collaborated with world renowned chefs and food stylists to produce outstanding natural photography – which retains her artist’s vision and her own unique, visual sensibility.

Tara is commissioned by many leading advertising agencies including AMV BBDO, BBH London, Ogilvy, CHI, JWT, Lowe, for brands such as; Philadelphia, Tesco, Waitrose, KFC, Burger King, Anchor, Sainsbury’s and Arla. She has worked on numerous cookery books with chefs Thomasina Miers, Annie Rigg, Jamie Oliver, Rachel Allen, James Martin, Michel Roux Jr, to name but a few. She is a regular contributor to Waitrose Food, Country Living Magazine, The Sunday Times Style Magazine, Food and Wine Magazine America and Sainsbury’s Magazine.

Tara lives in London with her husband, two daughters and three cats.
